Ginger Tea Recipe

  1. Wash + chop a piece of fresh organic ginger that’s about half the size of your hand

  2. Add the ginger pieces to 2 quarts of water and simmer about 30-45 minutes.

Note: The longer you simmer, the spicier the tea will be. Add water to

  3. Sweeten with honey or whatever you have on hand. Start with 3 Tablespoons, then taste, and add more to your liking

  4. Have it as is or with a squeeze of lemon. Freshly squeeze half a lemon into a cup of the warm ginger tea and enjoy!
Note: I find it useful to add the lemon to individual servings and preserve the base ginger
tea with no citrus so that it can be mixed into a variety of beverages over the next few days.

It is perfect to use in a smoothie and mixes great with green tea, chai or licorice tea, kombucha drinks, spritzers, dry sodas and more.

Having the ginger tea on hand helps give some nice variety to your hydration game and its beneficial for your immune and digestive systems at the same time. :)
